Position Opening

Chris Silbernagel will be retiring as Manager of Mandan Moose Lodge effective February 1, 2010. We are looking for an experienced full-time manager to oversee all operations of this fraternal organization. Please apply in person by first calling 663-9425 to make an appointment. Please bring a detailed resume of your past experience to your appointment. Salary will be negotiable depending upon experience.

Dinner - 6:15 p.m.
Meeting - 7:30 p.m.
$2 donation for the dinner ticket
Optional $5 gift exchange
Optional non-perishable items donation
Deadline to purchase tickets is December 6, 2009
Tickets can be purchased at the Lodge

2009 Fishing Tournament Results

This year's fishing tournament resulted in a great day of fishing for all the participants. There were 24 teams with 186 fish caught totaling 410 pounds.
1st place - Darren Erickson, Casey Jose and John Drew
2nd place - Dennis Eckroth and Dennis Wannemacher
3rd place - Gene Thomas and Neal Thomas
4th place - Randy Graner, Corey Kuntz and Laromy Klein
5th place - Jim Erhardt and Roger Erhardt
6th place - Jeff Swank and Dave Meidinger
7th place - Don Schick, Richard Peterson and Dale Effertz

Mandan Moose Golf Tournament 8-30-09

The Golf Tournament held on August 30th turned out to be a lot of fun for all 23 participants. Not only did the weather turn out to be a beautiful day, but everyone enjoyed the laughter and fun before, during and after the tournament.

WOTM Donate to Girl Scouts

The Women of the Moose of Mandan Chapter 1374 presented a donation to the local Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons at their meeting on Tuesday, September 8. Pictured (l-r) Patty Erhardt, Brenda Markham, Darlene Dillmann, Kathy Wamsley, Marla Barnhardt and Helen Muth. The Women of the Moose learned from Kathy what the Girl Scouts do in the community and how being a Girl Scout has helped many girls throughout their lives.

Mandan Moose Lodge Presents "Tommy Moose" to Mandan Police Department

Mandan Moose Lodge #425 Governor Randy Graner presented three dozen "Tommy Moose" plush dolls to Mandan's Chief of Police Dennis Bullinger. This unique, soft and cuddly Moose, wearing a red sweater with "Tommy" embroidered on front, is given to calm a young child in a crisis situation. Our local law enforcement officers carry Tommy Moose in their vehicles in the event a young child would be in a tragic or traumatic situation. The Tommy Moose Program is priceless, especially when the emotions of a young child are changed from distraught and distressed to calm and happy. The Moose organization is dedicated to providing community service to those in need.

2nd Annual Moose Golf Tournament

Date: Sunday, August 30, 2009

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Place: Mandan Municipal Golf Course

Be sure to sign up by Wednesday, August 26th. Open to paid up men and women Moose members - $25 per person - scramble - 9 holes. Prizes and fun for all. We had a great time last year and hope to see new golfers this year. The sign-up sheet is at the Lodge and the fee must be paid at the time you sign up. Hope to see you there!
